Protecting a Place of Purpose: Central Auckland Specialist School
We are incredibly proud to have played a part in the fantastic new Hydrotherapy Pool project at the Central Auckland Specialist School, working alongside the team at Naylor Love Auckland.
This project held special meaning for our team. Ensuring the long-term corrosion protection of the pool's roof structure was paramount, as this facility will serve children with special needs for generations to come.
The application of the Carboline protective coating system was a complex task of precision and patience:
A Multi-Coat System: Applying up to 7 coats across thousands of individual bolts and connections.
Phased Coordination: Working around ongoing installations without compromising on our stringent quality standards.
Defying the Elements: Overcoming Auckland's unpredictable winter weather with our strategic use of site heaters to maintain perfect application conditions.
Our commitment to quality was unwavering. To guarantee a flawless result that will stand the test of time, our team:
Captured over 4000 photographs for documentation across 850+ individual QA folders.
Employed digital microclimate monitoring throughout the entire process to ensure every coat was applied in ideal conditions.
We were deeply honoured that our team's dedication and collaborative spirit were recognised by Naylor Love Auckland when we were awarded Subcontractor of the Month during this project. This acknowledgement means a great deal to us!
A huge thank you to the entire Naylor Love team for their seamless partnership and to Altex Coatings Ltd for their support.
